New to a particular game? These plain-language summaries cover the core mechanics of the most popular card games in the MG Line lobby.
Before cards are dealt, every player contributes the boot (ante) amount to the pot. On MG Line, the boot is set when you choose your table — typically between Rs 20 and Rs 1,000 per hand.
Three cards are dealt face-down to each player. You can choose to look at your cards (Seen) or keep them face-down and play Blind — Blind players bet at half the current stake of Seen players.
Players bet in turn. You can call the current bet, raise it or fold and forfeit your stake. The round continues until only two players remain, at which point either player can request a Show.
Both remaining players reveal their cards. The better hand wins the entire pot. On MG Line, winnings are credited to your PKR wallet immediately.
Before cards are dealt, choose to bet on Player, Banker or Tie. On MG Line, bets start from Rs 50. The Banker bet has the lowest house edge at around 1.06%.
Two cards each are dealt to the Player hand and the Banker hand. Face cards and tens count as zero. Aces count as one. All other cards count at face value.
If either hand totals 8 or 9 (a Natural), no more cards are drawn. Otherwise, fixed drawing rules determine whether a third card is dealt to the Player, the Banker or both.
The hand closest to 9 wins. Player wins pay 1:1. Banker wins pay 1:1 minus a 5% commission. Tie pays 8:1. Winnings go directly to your MG Line PKR wallet.
Set your stake before cards are dealt. On MG Line, Blackjack tables start at Rs 100 per hand. Optional side bets include Perfect Pairs and 21+3 — place these at the same time.
Two cards are dealt to you face-up. The dealer receives one face-up and one face-down. Cards count at face value; Kings, Queens and Jacks are worth 10; Aces count as 1 or 11.
Hit to take another card. Stand to stick with your total. Double Down to double your bet and take exactly one more card. Split if you have a matching pair to create two separate hands.
The dealer reveals their hidden card. Dealers must hit on 16 or below and stand on 17 and above. Get closer to 21 without busting and you win 1:1. A Blackjack pays 3:2 on MG Line.
One card is drawn from the deck and placed face-up in the centre — this is the Joker. The goal of the game is to predict on which side, Andar (left) or Bahar (right), a matching card will appear first.
Bet on Andar or Bahar before the dealing begins. On MG Line, side bets on the number of cards dealt before the match are also available, adding extra ways to win on every round.
The dealer alternates cards between Andar and Bahar. Dealing continues until a card matching the Joker's rank appears. Whichever side holds that card is the winner.
If the Joker appears on Andar first, Andar bets pay 0.9:1 (if dealt Bahar-first, 1:1). MG Line settles all Andar Bahar bets instantly in PKR at the end of each round.

You don't need to be an expert to enjoy card games on MG Line — but a few sensible habits make your sessions more enjoyable and your money last longer.
A free basic strategy chart for Blackjack cuts the house edge to around 0.5%. It tells you the mathematically correct decision for every possible hand combination — no card counting required.
The Banker bet in Baccarat has a house edge of just 1.06% — the best odds of any even-money bet in the MG Line card lobby. The 5% commission on wins is already factored into this figure.
Playing Blind in Teen Patti halves your stake compared to Seen players, which makes it valuable in early rounds. But you can't see your cards — so pick your moments and don't go Blind for too long.
Decide your maximum loss for the session before you start. The MG Line account dashboard lets you set daily and weekly deposit limits. Using these tools is one of the simplest ways to keep card game play enjoyable long-term.
All card game bets and winnings on MG Line are handled in Pakistani Rupees. No conversion fees, no confusion — every Rs you deposit stays as Rs.

Card games have always had a special place in Pakistani social life. Teen Patti sessions during Eid gatherings, games played between friends during long evenings — cards are a part of the culture in a way that other games simply aren't. MG Line has built its card games section with this context in mind: a lobby that feels familiar to Pakistani players, with games they know and love alongside well-designed international titles that offer genuinely good value.
The MG Line card game library is deliberately curated rather than overwhelming. Rather than presenting hundreds of similar titles with minor visual differences, MG Line focuses on offering the best version of each major game type — the most playable Teen Patti experience, the cleanest Baccarat interface, the Blackjack variant with the best rules for the player. Every title in the lobby has been selected for game quality, fairness certification and smooth performance on Pakistani mobile devices.
Teen Patti is the undisputed number-one card game on MG Line, and for good reason. It's the game most Pakistani players grew up with. The rules are deeply familiar — the boot, the choice to play blind or seen, the slow build of the pot through a series of bets and raises, the tension of a final show. MG Line has taken that experience and translated it faithfully to a digital platform that performs well on a mid-range Android phone over a standard Pakistani 4G connection.
Beyond the classic format, MG Line also carries several Teen Patti variants that add fresh mechanics to the game. Joker Teen Patti introduces a wild card that can substitute for any other in your hand. AK47 designates all Aces, Kings, Fours and Sevens as wild cards, dramatically changing the hand rankings and the strategic calculus around when to stay in a pot. Muflis reverses the hand rankings entirely — the worst hand in classic Teen Patti becomes the best in Muflis, which completely changes how you should play a given set of cards. These variants are clearly labelled in the MG Line lobby so you always know which rules apply before you place a single rupee.
If you're looking for the most player-friendly odds in the MG Line card section, Baccarat is the answer. The Banker bet carries a house edge of just 1.06% — lower than any other card game on the platform and lower than almost any game in the entire MG Line lobby, including the highest-RTP slots. The simplicity of Baccarat is also a genuine advantage: unlike Blackjack, there are no complex decisions to make once the bet is placed. The drawing rules are fixed and automatic. You bet, cards are dealt, the result is determined. It's a clean, fast game that experienced card players often gravitate towards precisely because of this clarity.
One note on the Tie bet in Baccarat: while it pays 8:1 on MG Line, the house edge on the Tie bet is significantly higher than on the Player or Banker bets — around 14%. Casual players find the payout attractive, but statistically, the Tie bet is the most expensive wager in Baccarat over the long run. Sticking to Banker or Player gives you the best return on every hand.
Blackjack is the only card game in the MG Line lobby where player decisions genuinely and directly affect the house edge. A player making random decisions at a Blackjack table will face a house edge of around 2%–3%. A player applying basic strategy consistently — the mathematically optimal decision for every possible hand combination — reduces that edge to around 0.5%. That's a very significant difference over a session of any length, and it's the reason that experienced card players who want value for their money tend to gravitate towards Blackjack on MG Line.
Basic strategy charts are widely available and completely legal to use — they're not a system that beats the house, just the mathematically correct play for every situation. Spending an hour familiarising yourself with the core decisions (when to hit, stand, double down or split) before your first serious Blackjack session on MG Line is genuinely worthwhile. It won't guarantee wins, but it will make your bankroll go further and your sessions more competitive.
Card games — particularly competitive ones like Teen Patti and Poker — can create a strong emotional pull to keep playing after losses, especially if you feel the session is close to turning around. MG Line encourages all players to treat their card game sessions as bounded entertainment rather than an open-ended pursuit of recovery. Set your session budget before you start, and treat it as the total cost of the session regardless of outcome. The deposit limits and loss limits available in your MG Line account settings are there to support this — use them before your first session rather than after a difficult one.
